Managing partner

Graduated with a Master in Law of the University of Law of Paris, the Degree of the Centre d’Etudes des Communautés Européennes, the Diploma of the Institut d’Etudes Judiciaires and with a Comparative Law Degree from New York University, Patrick VOVAN has been a lawyer at the Paris Bar since 1970.

Partner of the law firm RAFFIN & ASSOCIES from 1972 to 1986, he founded the law firm VOVAN & ASSOCIES in 1987.

VOVAN & ASSOCIES has been thought as a business law “boutique” law firm, with a strong international practice.

His education has allowed him to develop a private and public business law activity, with a particular involvement in the drawing up and implementing of strategy and development of French and foreign clients.

Even though the practice of Counsel is predominant in his activity, litigation has also a significant place, both French, European and international jurisdictions, as well as national and international arbitration either as party or as arbitrator.

The interventions for the clients of VOVAN & ASSOCIES as well as the development of its network of correspondents and the setting up of foreign offices have led Patrick VOVAN to be active in various countries on every continent.
